2. Watch the video for making chicken nuggets and use the recipe to help make some chicken nuggets as part of a meal for your family (45mins)
Week commencing 1st June Flapjack: Weighing and measuring, melting, safe use of hob, safe use of the oven
Tasks: 1. Complete the weighing and use of the cooker activities and worksheet. If you don’t have all the equipment, just have a go at what you can do.

Week commencing 8th June Pot noodles are a very popular snack. They can be made in a very healthy but equally tasty way using our Top noodles recipe: Bridge and claw grip, healthy eating and healthy snacks.
Tasks:
1. Complete the Eatwell record, reflection and goals. 2. Watch the video and use the recipe to help make some top noodles as a light lunch or a healthy snack (45mins) 3. Send a photo of your finished worksheet and top noodles to Mrs Mather
Week commencing 15th June Frittatas are a healthy breakfast or snack. They can be made as a large frittata, a bit like an omelette or as mini frittata made in a muffin tin. They can be made very healthy with a range of vegetables. Skills: Bridge and claw grip, healthy eating and healthy snacks, using the oven.
Tasks:
1. Watch the frittata video and draw a mind map of possible frittatas annotated with some of the ideas the chef on the video uses, plus some of your own ideas 2. Use the video, the recipe and your annotated mindmap to help make some Frittata as a breakfast or a healthy snack (45mins) 3. Evaluate your finished frittata on the recipe sheet

1. Complete the biscuit design work on plain A4 paper. 2. Watch the video and use the recipe to help make some shortbread (45mins) 3. Evaluate your shortbread either by editing the word document or printing the pdf and writing on it. 4. Send a photo of your finished design and evaluation and your shortbread to Mrs Mather

Tasks: 1. Design a salsa moodboard with the help of the pdf worksheet ,then develop the basic recipe with some ideas of your own. (30mins) 2. Watch the video for how to peel tomatoes and make some salsa for your family (45mins) 3. Evaluate your salsa 4. Send a photo of your finished worksheet, salsa and evaluation to Mrs Mather
Week commencing 6th July Potato salad: Revising knife skills and using the hob, as well as making healthy nutritious food. Also focussing on more detailed evaluation of recipes
Tasks: 1. Watch the video and adapt the Potato salad recipe to match your design. (15 mins) 2. Use the video and your recipe to help make some Potato salad for your family with (45mins) 3. Evaluate your practical using the evaluation sheet trying to get as much detail in as possible.
Design a make lunch for your family. Your aim is to show skills in healthy food choice, safe use of equipment and safe use of the cooker.
Tasks: Draw a mind map of possible lunch meal ideas with the help of the mindmap example and the eatwell guide link below. Annotate your ideas with your likes and dislikes thinking about healthy eating and the eatwell guide, your families needs, equipment available at your house and your skills as a chef. Choose the most appropriate one of your lunch meal ideas to make for your family and make it as independently as possible. Make sure you clean up properly too.
