Week commencing 13th July Design and make a healthy main meal that meets NHS the healthy eating guidelines for your family. Your aim is to show skills in healthy food choice, safe use of equipment and safe use of the cooker.
Tasks: 1. Draw a mind map of possible healthy main meal meal ideas with the help of the mindmap example and the NHS link on Keswick food weebly. 2. Annotate your ideas with your likes and dislikes thinking about the healthy eating guidelines, your family’s needs, equipment available at your house and your skills as a chef. 3. Choose the most appropriate one of your healthy main meal ideas to make for your family and make it as independently as possible. Make sure you clean up properly too. 4.
